USV With Drone Deployment for SAR Operations
When every second counts, an uncrewed vessel can become much more than a surface platform. Vaspba is developing concepts combining USVs with integrated drone deployment technology, creating a mobile maritime base for UAV operations.
Once deployed into a search area, the USV could launch an airborne asset to rapidly extend the search radius, provide live imagery and assist in locating persons or vessels in distress.
